Feasibility, Siting and Design advice
For many the first questions that need to be answered is what facility will best serve our requirements, where can it be sited and what are the cost implications. By going to a range of companies a number of different and often conflicting views can often be obtained as not all representatives have the same level of experience.
With over forty years of experience in the industry and with the governing bodies I can advise on all aspects of location and design.
Specification and Tender Compilation
Coming direct for design advice means I am not tied to any particularly component or material
Two methods of service are available :
1) A specification to meet dimensional and performance requirements
2) A detailed specification of works specifying material types and specifications.
The advantage of the second option is that tenders can be sought on a like for like basis rather than comparing apples with oranges.
Quotation and Tender Appraisals
Having obtained designs and tenders/quotations from a number of companies the resultant information can be incredibly confusing. Before deciding on a particular design or supplier advice can be offered either on a particular submission or a comparison of the pros and cons of a number of submissions. This will help you make a decision on the most appropriate design and products.
Works and Facility inspections
The requirements and recommendations of the England and Wales Cricket Board can be confusing and often different companies will provide different explanations. Having been involved throughout the compilation of TS6 and the recommendations I am ideally placed to check. This service is offered to help ensure that the contractor sticks to the specification submitted or that the expected formal requirements have been made.
This can be either be on going throughout the construction process or a single check of the completed facility.
Maintenance Advice and Guidance
Having been involved in the development of all specifications for synthetic turf cricket facilities I am ideally placed to provide advice on the most appropriate maintenance or renovation options. THis could be simply what is the best approach to maintenance or what can be done to improve or renovate.
